| Researches on inflammatory factor and blood coagulation in patients with thoracoscopic and
laparoscopic esophagectomy |

Abstract Objective To investigate the inflammatory factors and blood coagulation changes in patients
undergone thoracoscopic and laparoscopic esophagectomy vs open radical resection. Methods The
present study included 100 patients who undergone radical resection of esophagus carcinoma from
June，2013 to June，2015. Fifty patients were in open radical resection group and 50 patients in
thoraco⁃scopic and laparoscopic esophagectomy group. PT，APTT，INR，FIB，D- D were tested
preoperation and 1，3，5 d after operation. CRP was tested both before and 3 d after operation. The relationship between CRP and D-D was tested. Results There were no significant differences in the gender，age，the size of tumor，differentiation degree and TNM staging between two groups. In both
groups APTT was sig⁃nificantly decreased while PT was significantly increased（P＜0.05），and there
were no significant differences between two groups. FIB and D-D were significantly increased
postoperatively in two groups（P＜0.05），and thoracoscopic and laparoscopic esophagectomy groupwere lower than open radical resection group（P＜0.05）. CRP was significantly increased in both group
after operation（P＜0.05），and was significantly lower in thoracoscopic and laparoscopic
esophagectomy group（P＜0.05）. CRP was related with D-D level after operation（r＝0.413，P＜0.05）.
Conclusion Compared to open radical resection，thoracoscopic and laparoscopic esophagectomy can
reduce inflammatory reaction and blood coagulation status. Inflammatory reaction may aggravate
blood coagulation status.
