| Investigation on the status quo of emergency medicine and equipment of scenic spot in Beijing |

Abstract Objective To understand the status quo of scenic spot′s emergency medicine and equipment in Beijing, analyze the existing problems and suggestions for improvement. Methods We investigated the status quo emergency medicine and equipment in the 3A～5A level scenic spot by questionnaire and conducted in-depth interviews with experts in the pre-hospital emergency treatment, volunteer rescue teams and the relevant staff of the Tourism Bureau in accordance with the content and form of the first aid. Results Existing uneven emergency configuration, all kinds of scenic have many obsolete medical equipment and basically confined to basic class trauma first aid equipment and drugs commonly used by passengers. Clinic emergency service level is low, so experts believe that we should be supported by the general public first aid behavior when unified their configuration standards, less involved in clinical medication as far as possible, and update existing equipment. Conclusion Scenic areas equipped with first aid kit, including basic emergency medicine which can be used by general public, and provide some emergency equipment for professionals at the same time in order to classified management. In addition, it is recommended to install AED in the large traffic scenic, so that patients with sudden cardiac arrest can be timely recurred.
