Abstract Bleeding is the main cause of death after traumatic injury. Severe trauma quickly resulted in massive blood loss, and patients often died of hemorrhagic shock in the first few hours. The main thrust of the treatment, therefore, is to identify the risk of hemorrhagic shock as early as regimens (massive transfusion protocol, MTP) to prevent or correct traumatic clotting disorders in patients (trauma-induced coagulopathy, TIC) and the progression of the disease caused more severe physical disturbances and even death. Early use of methionine (TXA) therapy also has a certain effect, may help prevent fibrin dissolution. Viscoelastic detection is superior to traditional coagulation tests in assessing further fibrin dissolution and provides some guidance for treatment. In this paper, the research progress of traumatic mass transfusion at home and abroad is reviewed to provide basis for clinical practice.
