Abstract Objective To investigate the risk factors for adverse cardiac events after percuta⁃ neous coronary intervention(PCI)by PROCAM score, and to analyze the changes of risk stratification in postoperative cardiac events. Methods A total of 841 patients underwent PCI for 2 year from Janu⁃ ary to June 2013 were selected from cardiology follow-up center in our hospital, and the occurrence of cardiac adverse events was investigated after the second year. Results The follow- up rate was 87.04%(732/841)in 24 months, and the major adverse cardiac events rate was 26.78%(196/732). Among them, the rate of cardiac death was 0.68%(5/196),congestive heart failure was 1.64%(12/ 196),recurrent angina was 15.85%(116/196),nonfatal myocardial infarction was 1.09%(8/196),seri⁃ ous arrhythmia was 2.32%(17/196)and revascularization was 5.19%(38/196). Compared with pre-op⁃ eration, the number of low-risk and intermediate-risk were significantly increased after PCI 24 months (P<0.05),but the number of high-risk group and very high-risk group were significantly decreased (P<0.05). Conclusion Great attention should be paid to the adverse cardiac events after PCI,and the quantitative assessment model is helpful for the prevention of the occurrence of adverse cardiac events af⁃ ter PCI.
